Here is how I did at my worst triathlon ever.

This is the worst I've ever done. The swim felt great, really easy and reasonably fast. The bike is where I had trouble. I was doing ok, until the turnaround. The turnaround came up on me really fast and I was going way too fast because I didn't realize it was coming. The guy in front of me hit the brakes hard and I tried, but I ran right into him. I knocked him over, blew out my tire, and fell. I got a minor scrape and jammed my finger, but I was ok. Thankfully I had bought a new CO2 cartridge, and spare tube in preparation for the race. I got a new tube on and used the cartridge and that went pretty well considering that I had never successfully used CO2 before(I had tried and failed on a prior ride). So I got the new tube on but it only lasted a couple hundred yards before I had another blowout. This is typical when the tire around the tube is damaged or something gets caught in the tire. In this case, there was a puncture in the sidewall from the accident, so that tire was gone. I waited a couple minutes figuring out what to do because I had no tire, no tube(or patch kit), no CO2. Thankfully, Tango arrived shortly and gave me tire, tube and pump. So after losing about 30 minutes I was back on the road, but I had also lost all my adrenaline. I totally failed the 2nd half of the bike and the run which was a brutal run adrenaline or no.
