So I had dinner with my old high school classmate Amy Wilkinson. She has taken a pretty interesting career turn. She will be starting as a White House Fellow in a short while. She was describing the interview process and it was more intense than anything I've ever heard of. I was half expecting her to say that they had to do a full body cavity search, maybe they did, but she just didn't mention it. But she's pretty excited about it and it sounds cool, so congrats to her.
Also at dinner were Bo Brustkern and Tom Deem. Bo is an associate at a venture capital firm here on the peninsula. He commutes back and forth from Colorado where he wants to move to permanently. Tom and his girlfriend/wife live in San Francisco and he works at a law firm, but not exactly doing legal work.
I heard from Amy that my old friend Bowen Gardner was in a severe cycling accident where he got hit by a car, and now he might never walk again. I need to get in touch with him and see how he's doing.
