A bunch of people I know with a blogs are using Live Journal, who recently got bought out by Six Apart the makers of Moveable Type. One of my cousins Ed(I have two cousins named Ed, though one in Edward, the other is Edwin) recently started a blog too, user random_skeins.

ESPN's Tilt premiered last night and it was supposed to be bad. Tonight is the premier of Battlestar Galactica. Last week was the premier of 24, and I still haven't had time to watch it. My Tivo is filled with stuff I haven't gotten around to viewing yet. Maybe it's time to hack it and put in a bigger disk drive, so I can store twice as many shows. It's like I'm too lazy to watch TV.

I'm using a java library for parsing RSS feeds called Informa. It seems pretty good. I still read all my RSS news on Yahoo, but I might want to switch at some point. I probably wouldn't write my own client, because I kind of suck at UI work, but I might use it to pull some data from some feeds at some point. One interesting feature of Informa is it has integration with Hibernate, so you can take your RSS feed and put it right into a SQL db. Seems like kind of a sledgehammer for the job, but I'm sure some people use of it. I got a bunch of people at work to try out screen, my favorite utility.

If your blog's boring, mine's a sleeping pill. I'm missing Battlestar Galactica too - must be a conspiracy.
