We are back from our vacation. We spent 5 days in Palm Springs and 2 days in LA and saw the Rose Bowl. Everything was great except losing to Texas. Palm Springs is pretty nice, lots of old money it seems, but housing prices are reasonable(though everywhere seems reasonable compared to the Bay Area). There are quite a few nice restaurants and the downtown is quaint. We hiked around Joshua Tree for a couple of days. Tracy will put up the pictures shortly. It was a pretty relaxing vacation, we sat around for a while, we did some workouts, we ate at some pretty good restaurants.

The Rose Bowl was a great game. I didn't really expect it to be the shootout that it was. And no one could have predicted Vince Young to have the amazing game that he had. Our offense was solid, but our defense gave up a lot of big plays, especially on 3rd downs. Standout receivers Braylon Edwards and Steve Breaston played great as did freshman QB Chad Henne.

I finished my fantasy football league as the winner.
