Facebook/Blog integration

I'm testing Simplaris Blogcast which will automatically update my facebook mini-feed when I post to my web site. Hopefully this works.

Facebook applications

Facebook applications annoy me. They are all these stupid viral things that are fun, but not actually useful. Because most application just request access to your personal data, my default is to not add any applications.

I don't consider myself a privacy nut, but if I'm going to give out my private information I better be getting some value out of the application. Or I better be able to trust them. I am sure that most applications are safe, but you can't really be sure. I am more worried about indirect sales of personal information by the application owners. But especially for widely used applications like SuperWall, it has to be tempting to sell all those names. It's nearly impossible to trace and once your information is out there you can't get it back.
